This safari experience is for lovers of the world’s largest mammal, the African Elephant. In this brief, but inclusive tour, you will be taken to three different parks to observe these incredible animals in their natural habitat. Learning more about these incredibly intelligent, yet complex mammals which share a number of similarities to humans. Expect to be wowed and awestruck as the magical itineraries unfold.

Safari Itinerary

DAY 1: Moshi/Arusha – Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro

Depart Moshi / Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park game drive. This lush ‘little park’ situated on the footsteps of the Great Rift Valley and provides a home to a wide range of different animals including elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hippos as well as more than 400 species of birds. It is most famous for its tree-climbing Lions, resting on Acacia branches six to seven meters above the ground. In the afternoon a drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Luxury Tented Camp/or Basic Camping.

DAY 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire

After breakfast descend into this astonishing ‘Natural Zoo,’ as the the Ngorongoro Crater is commonly referred as. With an abundance of wildlife, you have a high chance of spotting the Big Five – Lion, Cape Buffalo, Rhino, Leopard and Elephant. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the afternoon.

Dinner and overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Luxury Tented Camp/or Basic Camping.

DAY 3: Tarangire – Moshi / Arusha

Enjoy a whole day game drive in Tarangire National Park, where a large concentration of Elephants can be seen all year round. Tarangire National Park is second only to the Serengeti ecosystem for its density of wildlife. During the dry seasons; thousands of animals migrate from the ‘Maasai steppe’ to Tarangire River looking for water. After lunch drive back to Moshi / Arusha town.
